Impropriety join forces with Exchange Flags to explore the hidden underground rooms of the iconic Western Approaches Museum, once a top-secret nerve centre in 1940s wartime Britain. Taking inspiration from real life tales, Impropriety use their unique brand of improvised storytelling to bring history to life with ‘literal’ and ‘non-literal’ facts.

Be immersed into a unique and memorable experience whilst discovering this historic space.

30-minute tours at 17:00, 17:15, 17:45, 18:00, 18:30, 18:45, 19:15 and 19:30.

Impropriety are Liverpool’s premier improvisational theatre company and have performed around the world. Renowned for their highly acclaimed 33½ hour long annual Improvathon, their previous LightNight collaborations include the ‘Journey into the Unknown’ tours at St Georges Hall, Martins Bank Building (in association with Hidden Liverpool), Victoria Gallery & Museum and Liverpool Town Hall.

In Exchange Flags you will also find some of the North West’s best street food; artisan pizzas from I Knead Pizza, bao bun brilliance from Dim Sum Su and delicious Mexican treats from Little Cheesy Thing.
