Tea, coffee and sugar were once expensive commodities that, upon their arrival on ships, were stored within the Maritime building – originally a bonded warehouse. Come to this craft session and create artworks to take away, inspired by the history of the docks and these once valuable commodities. Enjoy a performance from Liverpool Signing Choir and find refreshments in the 4th floor restaurant, the Maritime Dining Room for hungry revellers of all ages, along with a shop selling lots of maritime-themed gifts and treats.

The Liverpool Signing Choir perform a selection of songs reflecting the passage of time at the docks and in the city 18:30 – 19:15.

Craft session suitable for 5+

Now, tea is the second-most popular drink in the UK (after water). We have a long history with tea, which comes in many different flavours; sample some with a resident expert and learn about its origins.

Tea tastings take place 17:30 & 19:30.
